The Company

The Automotive Components & Accessories Division (ACAD) have a Support Centre which oversees and steers the operations of four divisions currently encompassing eight business units.  It is expected that ACAD will continue to expand organically and through accretive acquisitions.

 

The Position

Reporting to the ACAD ECFM, the Financial Officer will play an integral part in improving the effectiveness of the ACAD Support Centre in the commercial management and financial reporting. Assisting in the preparation of key commercial and financial reports enabling the ECFM to better support the business units (BUs) Commercial/Financial Managers (CFMs) to develop improved control & reporting mechanisms ensuring the accuracy and valuable contribution to the operations are attained.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the divisional ECFM enabling him to improve the wider finance team’s capabilities and implement improved control and reporting mechanisms.
  • Consolidation of divisional cashflow reporting, analysis and validation of cashflow data and assisting with treasury controls.
  • Consolidation of monthly BU data into consolidated divisional results for transmission to head office.
  • Undertake tasks associated with the operation and control of the divisional support centre accounting and the preparation of the month-end financial reports.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of regulatory compliance across the divisional operations to ensure all reporting and payment deadlines are met.
  • Collating data for bi-annual audit submissions.

 

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in a similar all-round financial management position (essential).
  • An understanding of the automotive industry (highly desirable).
  • Financial reporting and compliance requirements of an ASX listed entity (highly desirable).
  • Self-motivated, high performing individual who is a self-starter (essential).
  • Proven time management skills and experience in an evolving environment (essential).
  • Advanced Excel skills and good understanding of financial reporting systems (essential).
  • Change management in a busy environment involving business acquisitions (highly desirable).

 

Remuneration

A base salary commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
